Yesterday I promoted two people.
Today I have to tell two people they didn't get the job.
Life has its ups and downs.

oh noes, they were definitely the way I wanted to go. Just three applied, one made it, someone else had to be moved up to replace them where the used to be...and then there are still two people left who don't get nothing...I guess it is the way things go sometimes.

Yeah, I hear you. Life does. I hate when I don't get a job that I applied for. In fact I dislike applying for jobs since I feel that I sometimes don't have the qualifications and other times I do and I still dont't get picked. It doesn't help that I have a physical disability and I get overlooked. :) I hope that it gets easier for you as time goes on. :)

that kind of stuff is so tough, and now being on the otherside I get to know how arbitrary the whole thing can be. Just gotta be as kind as you can. thanks hun.
