I could really, really use some ocean-Laura-happy time right about now. Between the huge mega inspection coming up on Thursday, between the wedding stuff, most of which is stressful, some in a good way, and my own family life I just really need to shut down for a few days and simple exist. Merely take a moment to breathe for myself. I'd love a day

The important thing to always remember in times of doubt, I've learned, is that life goes on. Wounds eventually heal in whatever particular way they need to, depending on the type of wound. A new opportunity for a job may always come along. It's just up to you to catch the right train. I knew very early on that I wasn't going to be working at Shoppers forever, which was probably the main thing that kept me sane while I was working there. I had my breakdowns, but took them as they came, because I knew those would pass just the same
