As for the show itself, I didn't think it too terrible a cliff hanger (that is, I'm sure it all resolve in a fairy tale like way). I see Regina's sacrifice as a mark of her true redemption - at least I hope it's her redemption because her slipping repeatedly is sort of driving me crazy :) And if it's her redemption, then her love of Henry and Henry's love of her will find a way (even if he can't remember because even Snow and Charming found each other when they were forgotten).

I could hear the character voices and I adore the love-hate relationship of Emma and Regina
I love their relationship. I'm not a SwanQueen 'shipper, but I love the potential for Emma to become her family, and in a sense be her savior, because she's able to see her in an unclouded way that those who have known her as The Evil Queen never quite can.

I ADORED everything about Regina in the winter finale. She was COMPLETELY in character (unlike so many of the other characters, her son included). Her story was beautiful, and Lana Parrilla just truly outdid herself in her performance.

At some point I may type out my lengthy dissertation on everything that was wrong with this for me, but right now, honestly, I can't stand to think about it for long at a time. I'm still too close to it, and still sort of in shock that my fandom suddenly isn't there, anymore. Plus, since others are still enjoying this world, I don't want to put any more negativity out there than I can help, that's sort of against everything I stand for in fandom. We'll see.

I particularly felt for your battered-to-breaking-point Regina, and I like that Emma is still willing to look for the woman behind the anger and the years of pain. Very sweet, sympathetic scenes between the two of them.
