Woah. This whole story has this dream-like quality, interspersed with the very real physical images, and it's particularly effective.

Angsty, yes. Good? Oh, holy hannah, yes. There are loads of details here, and I just keep wanting to draw them all in at once.

Things like her battlescars softened or vanquished, her body as it had been before her first journey Offworld. Because--oh, Sam. And there are plenty of places like that.

Ooh, that's beautiful. Brittle and sharp, like a shattered crystal, and so painfully visceral for all its dreaminess. Love the way it evokes her experience during the episode, and the aftermath feels very real to me.
