Maybe Pink Floyd. They're on my list of famous bands that I've never seriously listened to.

You should try Mana, they are very good, but not thrashy, and they sing in spanish :-). Hmmm... I don't know if any of my music could be described as B. Possibly angry, but they are good and you'd be expanding your selection of musical styles by incorporating a latin style beat. Hmmm... Dave likes a band called "Dispatch" that have some strange songs. That's all I got from the moment as far as stuff I think you'd enjoy...
