Okay I've got a question actually. :o if the pokemon get stronger as the routes go ... how are rocket grunts supposed to level their Pokemon if they're supposed to level their Pokemon?

I don't mean a person's individual pokemon. I mean the pokemon along the routes.

So you could stay right outside of New Bark Town and battle five lvl5 kajillion ratata to level up, or you could go further down and battle something that's more difficult.

So as long as the Grunts are battling with their pokemon, they'll still level them up. Where they are won't affect their personal pokemon, just the ones they fight.

Yeah, that's why I was asking because I thought they were supposed to stay in Mahogany Town? and couldn't really battle with like... level 5 Pokemon /confused, sorry if it's not making sense.

There are probably some magikarp splashing around in there, or other low level pokemon. It'll probably just be harder to find them.
