Hey, loyal Rockets! Yeah, you! The ones who didn't have to be kidnapped, and were therefore put on a flight back to Goldenrod to help aid in the takeover of the Radio Tower ( Read more... )

I have a question!

Aly (Fai's player) and I (Kurogane's player!) have an idea for the jobs that the Rockets have to get at Goldenrod. Would it be possible for us to have Fai and Kurogane end up hosting a radio show together, even if only a minor/late-night one?

Because the Rockets are only just getting their jobs a few days before the break-in, and are supposed to be keeping a fairly low profile, we're afraid that at this particular point in the plot, it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for Rockets to be able to pick up such a position. Sorry!

Even if they could get such a job within such short notice, Team Rocket would discourage them from picking up a job that would put them in the limelight so close to the take-over, when surprise is of the essence!

However, there may be opportunities for characters to pick up things like that later on, so stay tuned!

I remember reading that the prisoners' things were taken away? (their bags and pokemon and other things)... Where are those kept?

Yikes, we probably should've stuck that in there! Thanks for asking!

The prisoners' possessions and Pokemon are being kept in an antechamber somewhere outside the cell area, but in the general radius of the rooms and staff lounges and stuff. They will need someone in the know (aka an NPC Rocket Grunt or one of the released prisoners who took the Beta's offer) to tell them where it is.

They can expect some of their stuff to have been stolen (particularly valuable items, but it's up to you how much or little you want taken, and obviously the Pokemon will all still be there, though possibly a little traumatized) and obviously-rifled-through when they get to them.

One more question!

Can Mammon keep some of the books that are on the bookshelf? Just because she wants to read through them... and the biography too?

Yes, although none of said books will contain particularly relevant material to anything.

"Hail Giovanni: the Unofficial Biography of Our Great Leader" is more or less three hundred pages of ridiculous propaganda dreamed up by some fanboy/girl Rocket somewhere. Picture a book that basically describes a bunch of Chuck Norris jokes, except that they're totally serious, and about Giovanni.

What jobs are available? The FAQ mentions janitor, but some other ones were mentioned in this post.

Just curious since Cobra Commander will take a janitorial job if he has to, but he certainly won't be very happy about it.

More positions than just janitor are available-- tech support, clerical work, night guard, secretary, call-taker, assistant to the DJs, etc, and all are viable options for Rocket members to have, although the more important jobs like guarding and such might be harder to get on such short notice.

However, these are just beginning positions intended to get Rocket Members established in the building for the purpose of the take-over-- so any positions obtained at this point in time can be subject to change at a later date, if WHEN Team Rocket succeeds at taking the Tower into its own clutches. Cobra Commander won't have to remain a janitor for long, even if that is what he gets at first!

HE WILL BE THE BEST WORST BEST CALL-TAKER EVER

If that's okay, of course.

That is more than okay.

That is beautiful.

Just putting this here so I'll remember it - kasanoda, as so ordered, will be a janitor cleaning toilets. Unless Scanty-mun has a different idea/preference/,etc Kneesocks will be a secretary.

But there is one question! Kasanoda, stupidbrave guy he is, still wants to play double agent and help our heroes. Exactly how much info into the Goldenrod Takeover Plot will grunts have been told? Or have they only been told to get jobs and wait for more instructions? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, they've only been told to wait for further instructions there. Since they have a mission to do, the Execs aren't going to bog them down with "unnecessary info".

Gotcha, just making sure.

... When you put that in quotes, I see them saying that while doing this.

LOL! They probably do, in the secret confines of their office, with dramatic lighting and ~spooky~ background music.

So, question. Zuko is canonly very, very good at picking through booby traps and such (Ref being any time he appears as the blue spirit and "the firebending masters").

Will this do him any good here?

Considering that the prisoners and rescuers will need to make it back out of the base without a guide, it will probably come in very handy, yes! He will probably be better at getting past the traps than other characters, although chances are he won't be able to avoid everything. Dem Rockets are tricky.

I had assumed he'd hit a few...

And it won't help that Asmodeus keeps pushing him into them~!
