Summary: Aki needs CR with various people. I am so out of ideas for logs it's not even funny. Therefore, this was thrown together.

[Kaito had been drifting about Violet ever since his group had arrived in the dreary city, mostly performing small tricks for pocket change as he waited for Kay's dad to arrive. The past few days had given him a lot to think about, so the time he spent alone was something he was grateful for.

His wanderings had brought him to the schoolyard some time that afternoon, but the empty buildings and playground pretty much ensured the fact that he wouldn't be getting any business done here today. With a sigh, he turned on his heel to leave, only to stop when he saw a familiar face walking briskly from the swing set to the front of the schoolhouse.

Isn't that... Crow's friend?

He stopped short and turned to face the approaching figure, lifting a hand from his pockets and waving at her with a grin]

Oooooi! [He had only interacted with her a little bit, and nothing beyond exchanging names and pleasantries, but it certainly couldn't hurt to get to know the mysterious girl who had been traveling with them a bit more... right?]

[Aki's attention shifts to the familiar figure -- at first, she hesitates, not thinking his shout is directed at her, but when she realizes he's actually looking right at her, she stops walking and turns to acknowledge him.]

...Kaito, wasn't it? What brings you here at this time of day?

[He approaches with a nod, lifting a hand to tip back the brim of his baseball cap]

Yeah, that's right. [a shrug] 'M just looking for people who might be interested in seeing a magic effect or two.

...Magic? What kind of magic?

[You have HER interested now, Kaito. Good job.]

[ Kay had been everywhere, mostly to keep her mind off the inevitable. But it's helpful now to distract herself--

and so Aki will find one of her groupmates trotting unerringly for one of the swings and plopping herself down in one with no hesitation whatsoever. ]

[My, what a weird way of speaking you have. Aki can't really help but repeat it in a confused attempt to figure it out as the girl passes right by her, heading straight for the swingset. She glances over her shoulder and blinks.]

...You're Kay, aren't you?

[ once she's comfortably settled, Kay nods and offers her a chipper salute. ]
