France cleaned up from work, which usually just meant washing throughly to get the feeling of the kitchen out of his hair and pulling on comfortable, warm clothes. Tonight, however, he was expecting a guest who was looking to put in a large and specific order, so France had taken out a set of his nicer clothes and had blow-dried his hair instead of letting it drip-dry as he usually did.
He was loitering in the lobby of the Violet City Pokemon Center, flipping through a magazine on Pokemon care with only half an eye. Nurse Joy occasionally eyed him suspiciously, and France, in turn, studiously ignored her as he flipped idly through the pages until he found an article about Poliwag skin care that was actually somewhat relevant to him and promptly tearing it out.
