Summary: Happy reunion between two friends when Aerith finally reaches Cherrygrove.

He was a bit surprised when he saw her name flash on the screen of his pokégear, and immediately felt a wave of guilt for his earlier text. Hopefully she hadn't felt too pressured to close those last few miles. He was just happy she was here, finally; both to see her and because he was itching to get back on the road.

"Skarmory and I are coming into town in a few minutes. We'll meet you in the Pokémon Center."

He and Skarmory--and now Tentacool, who still had no name--had already put the beach well behind them, and Cherrygrove's small cluster of buildings was rapidly coming up to greet them. As soon as his boots started hitting cobblestones, Leon was feeling pretty good. Skarmory seemed to pick up on his energy, her posture proud and alert. Leon couldn't say he'd missed Aerith--he'd seen her only days ago, as far as his reckoning went--but knowing she'd been here, not alone but nearly, for weeks, didn't sit well with him

"Okay. I'll wait for you and Skarmory," responded Aerith before she turned off the pokegear. She looked at the clock in the wall realizing it will take a while to get her pokemon back. Aerith didn't know how long it'll take Leon to get to the Pokemon Center, so she decided to watch for her cue to pick up her pokemon. Squall, the Ledyba, was flying around the center happily to spread her wings a bit. Her trainer rarily let her out for a whole week except to eat and get her usual exercise

Skarmory chittered happily at Aerith, bobbing up and down. It was nice to finally meet Aerith, too! Also she really wanted that Pecha berry! She opened her mouth wide, showing off the serrated sides of her beak and her pink tongue. Noms plz!

Leon stopped a few feet behind Skarmory, watching the exchange with some amusement. Skarmory hadn't known Aerith for five minutes and she was already getting spoiled. Oh well; as long as Skarmory's waistline didn't start to expand, he didn't mind. It was a relief to see Aerith in good health; it must have been all the sun and the hiking. He quietly went to the counter, slipping Tentacool's pokeball to the nurse for treatment before wandering back to his friends. He watched Aerith's ledyba make figure-eights near the ceiling, noting that even her pokémon seemed happy.

Aerith began to giggle at Skarmory's blunt response to the berry in her hand. "Okay, okay! Here you go! I hope you enjoy eating it," responded Aerith as she placed the berry inside the pokemon's mouth. The smile never once left her lips because she couldn't help spoil Skarmory because she wanted to make a good first impression with her.

Squall will fly around until she notices the other guy staring at her, but she couldn't help realize he looked a little like the guy she was named after. Did his hair grow longer? Squall couldn't help feel curious over the other man, so she will dive right into Leon's chest. In her own way, she was kinda pouncing on Leon, but her size doesn't help. The Ledyba was very happy to see Squall, again. She has always liked him.
