Who: Envy and Tulio Where: Cherrygrove When: October 14th, Afternoon Summary: Adventures in conning! Rating: I wouldn't think higher than PG-13 for cursing? Log: ( stealing is bad kids )
Tulio, on the contrary, was getting bored and rather agitated with this particular town. Restless, really. It was a small neighbourhood, and, as far as he could tell, closely knit. It didn't sit well with him since he hadn't really dared to pull any real schemes, especially not without a partner to draw attention a different way or to help him trick people into playing a game they'd lose.
The problem was that he was reluctant to leave. He'd asked around, and found that it would take up a week to reach the next town. He wasn't a big fan of wilderness - you couldn't predict how wilderness would act, but you could always count on people to be foolish

Envy had just spotted a building with a bright blue roof that looked like a store, and was heading for it when he noticed a big red and green flying thing out of the corner of his eye, and he glanced over to look at it, whatever it was, confused and hoping he wouldn't have to dodge out of the way.
Bicho was a happy mutant dragonfly at that moment and Tulio could tell. He gestured at him not to look at him (as to not draw attention to him) while he snuck up behind the girl, and saw the "money" so easily attainable. He made quick work of the procedure, grabbing them one by one rapidly and stuffing them in his vest pocket.
He didn't really understand the concept of paper as money. It clearly didn't have any value, but people here regarded it as such, so he'd quickly adjusted his views to do so well. No one had even mentioned gold or silver or anything of that nature, and even worse, he hadn't seen any of the kind. But it worked the same way as the metal coins he was used to, so he went along with it.
Purposefully brushing against the other person and muttering a quick "sorry", he saw the Yanma flit to the opposite direction he was heading. Turning his head away, he went in quick strides towards the other end of the little town, where a signpost marked Route 30 to begin.
When the bizarre dragonfly thing zipped and flew loops around his head, Envy glared at it and tried to swat it away. "Hey, get the hell away from me you damn bug, or I'll crush you!" He noticed when the black haired man bumped into him, but was too pissed off at the bug to think about it.
At least, not until he stopped outside the shop labeled PokeMart to look how much money he actually had and noticed that almost all of it was missing. He cursed; it was a trick he'd both experienced and used for himself many times, except without a convenient giant insect to play distraction. This place was messing with his head, he ought to have realized sooner.
"Hey, stupid thing, did you see where that tall guy with the black hair went?"
"Laaar!". Chimera had seen the man and started leading Envy in the direction he'd gone. Envy muttered curses under his breath, it figured the guy would try to skip town. He wouldn't kill him this time, it wasn't often that a human got the better of him, and he felt like giving the man a taste of his own
