[Robin is basically as chill as you could possibly be when it comes to this date. He's taking his sweet time in getting to the tower, because he knows the more he makes Eridan wait, the more likely Eridan will be frustrated and annoyed and maybe Robin's masochistic and thinks angry people or funny. Or maybe Robin's running late because he was in a very secret, desperate rampage to find things to do.
He has a list, one that involves going to a ramen shop, arcade, and possibly a tour of the radio tower (to which Robin might have an ulterior motive) but then he's stumped. It wasn't until they agreed to this brodate that Robin realized he knew basically nothing about what Eridan liked or did on his free time. Nothing at all. But hey, Robin has the self confidence of a god, he'll figure something out. Somehow.
And that's the mindset he's in when he arrives, struttin' in like a pro, realizing Eridan had probably been waiting for a while and was most likely annoyed. But hey, an annoyed Eridan is someone Robin can handle.]
[By the time Robin gets there, Eridan's ready to pull out his gear and let Robin know just how much he doesn't appreciate all this waiting... And maybe, just maybe he was kinda afraid he got stood up. But when he sees him, he continues his annoyed expression, pushing back any figment of worry he might have been displaying, because whatever, like he actually gives a fuck if Robin stood him up or not, he's fine, he can deal. Whatever, Whatever!]
'Bout damn time, what the fuck happened? Ya get lost?
[His arms cross over his chest and he offers a slight nose crinkle like he's in distaste because of Robin's tardiness. Attitude all up in here bro, you best be ready.]
[Aw, Eridan, Robin would never stand you up. But he's usually on time, so this tardiness is just an example of his nerves. Not that he'd let Eridan know that. Nope, not at all. He's all cool and chill and everything he should be when hanging out with a friend.]
Why, worried I wouldn't show up? [A beat.] I'm here, so it doesn't matter. You hungry?
[bring on the sass, man. Robin can take sass. He can take it and use it to his advantage, a.k.a. turn it over on the sassy one.]
[Eridan is all sass man, so long as he can hide anything like genuine feelings or anything. Like that worry that actually, totally wasn't a thing, so forget about it, cuz obviously it was just annoyance. Clearly.]
Pfft, yeah right, like ANYONE would skip out on a chance to spend time with ME.
[Though he offers a shrug. Totally dismissive like a cool guy, yep. Eridan is the meaning of cool, watch and learn Robin.]
