[Kanji wanders in feeling (and probably looking) really awkward. Despite those angry tiffs he got into with Yosuke-senpai over the course of a few months and in the past-- he wouldn't feel right ditching the guy's birthday party. Sure he wanted to punch the guy in the face sometimes, but that was how he acted. He couldn't help his nature. HE'S ALSO FEELING REALLY AWKWARD BECAUSE THE ONLY BAG THE STORE HE WENT INTO WAS BRIGHT PINK WITH BRIGHT PURPLE POLKA DOTS. Hopefully he'd ignore the colors of the bag and focus in on the handmade beanie that's inside.]

Man, I hope I didn't miss anything important. This was all from memory....

[For whatever reason it was, Yosuke didn't entirely expect to see Kanji around. Maybe it was because of the situation, or because of how rough things had been between them as of late - even knowing he was to blame for a lot of that stuff. But right now? Yosuke's happy to be at the center, happy Souji's back, and happy to have his friends surrounding him - Kanji included.]

[Still looking tired, but happy, he offers a wave.]

Yooo, Kanji! Don't worry you didn't miss-- [He pauses, unable to miss that atrocity of a bag. But he won't pick a fight now, not yet, at least.] m-much. Just Ted being a human Dyson, pretty much.

[Kanji tensed slightly but tried his best to relax as Yosuke came closer. Hopefully Yosuke didn't hear him talking to himself or he'd.... get some sort of clue as to what his gift could be. And unfortunately for the two of them, he couldn't really hide the bag well so it's just.... stickin' out like a sore thumb.]

Oh.... that ain't nothin' at all. I just hope he doesn't come over to me and leech offa my food once I get a plate. [He shakes his head. Good thing this place doesn't have any topsicles :V!!]
