Artemis walked beside Beckett, he'd given the younger boy the benefit of the doubt and not insisted about holding hands. He didn't think Beckett could outrun Diana if he made a bolt for it anyway, besides, this way he didn't have to hold his siblings glucose-covered hands ( ... )

Beckett stopped short and spun to face Artemis his eyes sparkling with excitement, "Can we?!" He Artemis probably could have said "Would you like to run all the way home" and Beckett would have been just as enthusiastic.

Not that Artemis actually would ever say something like that. Running. A terrible means of transportation.

Beckett jumped into the air just once and when he landed he stumbled and stood up straight and rigid giving Artemis a salute. Fallowing his example Stampy and Plusle did the same. Pineco simply scowled.
