Aya kept his head low as he moved down the road. It was obvious by now that he was soaked but it wasn't like he really had another choice in the matter. The one thing he could say was that the Eevee he'd tucked away was dry. He was nuzzling his chest currently from within the coat.

Shaking his hair from his face, he looked ahead and saw a figure under a tree. The person looked familiar but it was hard to tell.

The next time he ended up across the universe, he was going to wear a coat with a hood on it.

Walking closer, he soon realized that was indeed Ken. A little relieved but not exactly showing it (he was wet and miserable), he made his way over to him, getting under the tree and shaking the water from his hair as best he could.

Well, it wasn't exactly the most dramatic reunion. Downright quiet, really--but there wasn't much need to say anything anyway ( ... )

Aya watched what Ken did and blinked when the result was a somewhat dry piece of ground. Honestly he wasn't sure how Confusion meant drying the ground a little but one thing was for certain...he was confused by it. It seemed that the recently named Cu was interested too since he popped his head out to look.

Tilting his head, the Eevee made a little noise as he watched what was going on.

"You will have to explain how something called Confusion dries the ground like that," Aya said as he moved over to help his friend how ever he could. The sooner he got out of the rain, the happier he'd be. Though he generally didn't mind it, he also had a certain fondness for being dry.

And Ken happened to look just as drowned as he did.

"He's a Psychic type. He kinda just...moved the water over there. With his mind." You've seen Nagi stop bullets, surely you can infer from there, Aya. "...honestly I wasn't sure it'd work. But he moved a bunch of snow when I went to get Youji, so I thought it might be worth a shot. Better than sleeping in a foot of mud ( ... )
