It is with great pleasure that I present you fine ladies and gents with the roundup for the Struggle Tournament! Contestants were paired up with the assistance of the
random list generator, and I think they all came out pretty swell.
If for some reason I've goofed something, lemme know and I'll fix it \o/
ICly, the bracket should now be posted in the Violet City Pokécenter. Feel free to react and initiate the smack talk.
Winners of the first bracket in level two will participate in a round robin. Whoever has the most points at the end is the winner. Level three will be a bit more complicated; we'll work out the best way to determine the winner as we get a little closer.
Here we go!
Level One
-ROUND PUZZLE SUPERSTAR
Rise Kujikawa vs Luke Triton
Level Two
-ROUND PROTAG BEAT
Beat vs. Souji Seta
-ROUND VIDYA
Scott Pilgrim vs Cocona
-ROUND ENIGMA
Lea, you will be up against an NPC. He's on the tall side, and wears a black coat with his face obscured by the hood. Don't let him intimidate you though; his fighting style is actually pretty easy to figure out and counter. Just be careful: hit him too many times and he'll get mad. Really mad. Like beserk mode mad. Also he likes to yell "MOVE ASIDE" for some reason.
Unless someone tosses in their character for you to battle, I'll be playing this NPC for you. c:
Level Three
-ROUND MANLY MEN
Terra vs Leon
I swear to god this is not my doing. The generator actually pitted you two against each other twice, when I realized I forgot to add someone and re-generated the list.
-ROUND NEVER SAY DIE
Riku vs Shirou Emiya
-ROUND WILD AND CRAZY
Sora vs Patti
-ROUND FASTER THAN BOCO
Bartz vs Sonic
-ROUND NO COUNTRY FOR OLD NINJAS
Jiraiya vs Hungary
-ROUND BFFS OF MINNIE MOUSE
Roxas vs Kisame
-ROUND PRINCE OF HEART, DUKE OF DARKNESS
Ventus vs Flay
-ROUND DAGGER
Zidane, you will be fighting a feisty brown-haired NPC with a penchant for yellow. Don't let her size fool you; she's quick on her feet and packs quite a punch, though she favors hanging back and waiting for the right opportunity to strike. Remain relentless in your attacks, and you shouldn't have too many problems.
sob sorry I don't know Dissidia canon, so I went with FF9
Happy plotting, guys!
