And still, she cannot move. Glued to her seat, her blue eyes wide with shock, disconcertion and uneasiness. It was something she was not unfamiliar too, had witnessed one before with her very own eyes. A friend dying in her place, saving her.
"Dying on the stage is the best thing that can happen to a singer."
But even before she can react, tears already forming at the corner of her eyes, she is pulled down from her seat (finally cutting away the invisible shackles that held her there) and then gets shoved behind it. Above her head, she hears a crack. A gun shot.
The question almost doesn't register in Sheryl's mind. ]
Of course I'm not okay -- [ She stops in mid-sentence before she yanks her wrist out of the grip. ] What are you doing here, Kaito?

... I dunno. The last thing I remember is this stupid bug.
[And then, he turns back to Sheryl, prepared to say something else-- but derailed by the glistening he sees in the corners of her eyes]
-- you okay?

I'm fine. The smoke is just hurting my eyes.
[ A lie but he doesn't need to know what the reason behind those tears are. Though considering his previous expression, it seems that she's not the only one who has -- issues with burning stages.
With a deep breath, she glances at him again. ]
What bug?

The creepy ghost bug. You didn't see one?

[ she lifts an eyebrow. ] I didn't even get to check what it's called. I thought it was some stupid prank with all those creepy Pokémons hanging around Cherrygrove.
[ she couldn't really remember what happened next, other than the fact that she peered into its back and then -- sheryl shakes her head before she looks up over the chairs. ] Is it over?
Reply
[glancing back over the chair and letting out a sigh]
... probably not. That guy never gives up.

So what are we going to do now? The last thing I want is to die in this place. [ she looks around. ] And I don't even know where we are.

[ she folds her arms across her chest. ] What does he want anyway? Why is he shooting at us?

We've got to get out of here. Did you see an exit anywhere?
Reply
No, but if theaters are similar to concert halls then it should have several exits at the back of the hall, behind the stage and at the sides for emergencies.
Reply
I already looked there. Nothing. No doors, no windows.
Reply
[ she stands up impulsively to look around in search of an exit. yep. not even minding the danger at all. ]

[-- he immediately pulls her down, just in time too, as another gunshot rings out]
Reply
Stop yanking me! I was looking for an exit.
