Don't it always seem to go?
With my mom's help, I took Heyoka down to PetSmart on Friday for her first experience being professionally groomed. She didn't seem to be any more traumatized by it than she has been by any other visit to PetSmart, so I deem it a success. Seriously, though - this is something I did roughly a year ago. I just waited longer than I should have to get it looked at. Stress reaction of the talus bone, or more to the point a bunch of microfractures that got together and decided that they were going to hurt like hell and take forever to heal because I ignored them at first. Apparently the only solution is to keep my weight off the ankle until it feels better, but there's no telling when that'll be. At least I'm saving money by not going to a con!
