I'm up here at Otherlands on my last leg of researching galleries. I have an overwhelming feeling of dread regarding this whole process. I'm worried that all this is for nothing. Sweetie, your work speaks for itself - or it will, once it gets the appropriate venue :) You are having the problem creative people have all the time: you are not a salesperson. This is why singers and actors have reps, writers have agents, and painters and sculptors have galleries. Have you talked to other artists about how they work with the galleries? Or gallery owners about what they need to know to judge whether their patrons will be a good fit for your work?
You don't need to know how to sell your work, but you do need to know how to communicate to the folks who will. And you communicate very well (as the DVD showed). You can do this - just let us know if you need some help :)

Its not as easy for the rest of us - but we can certainly appreciate the absurdity ( ... )
