i was quite shocked as i saw that! i missed the match because i had band rehearsal, but this morning, i told my mother, that it would be kind of embarassing, if Switzerland loses tonight....well....they teached me better! I haven't saw the game, but i heard they played really bad....well, better now than in two years time....:)

Hell, I was shocked, too! I mean, seriously. Ah, well. I hope they're going to find their mojo again. Preferably when it counts *nods*.

Yeah, Germany would have a good chance at getting very far right now. I hope that will be true in two years as well.

I totally agree with your opinion about the match. In the second half I was just, "WTF?" and thought that maybe Jogi had told them to stand tight and let them run to exhaust them and then strike back in the last half of the 2nd half - which Poldi did with his goal, and they did get better then, too. *shrugs* Ah, well!

And augh, yes. I guess Metze won't stay at the BVB - he's talked about going abroad or to another club where he has more chances of winning the Cup or the Schale. *sighs* And right now he's 25 going on 26 (wtf, he is *younger* than my big brother! *laughs*), so that's a good age to start anew somewhere else.

As for Kelly, I doubt he'll be following Metze, seeing as he has a whole 'nother set of priorities (Tina and his wee Luis, aw) and I always got the impression that he's more out to settle where he feels comfortable (remember that Bayern mess with the returned cheque? *g*), so. But, well, it would be nice if we'd see more of the Metzelly in the future, I agree. *smiles*

Hey, we won, we showed that we can play beautiful football... What more can one expect? :)

I guess he won't stay either. Which is sad. I mean, Wörns and Brzenska are good inner defenders. But Wörns isn't getting any younger. Not sure if Amedick can fill his spot, as much as I think he has the potential.

I think that Metze's decision will depend a lot on how Dortmund does until he has to sign. He would do good abroad. Like, ManU *grins*. I wonder if his crew cut is a hint with the complete fence that he wants to transfer to Chelsea.

Well, the thing about Kehli. I don't know. Sure, he now has other priorities (Awwwwwwww, still fangirling Tina and Mini 5), but I still think he will leave Dortmund, too, when his contract ends. He already wanted to have a quick-leave clause in his current contract, which Dortmund declined, which is why he only signed a two-year contract and not a four-year one.

Ah well, I guess we have to wait and see. As long as neither of the Metzelly joins Schalke or Chelsea, I guess I can live with it.

Der Videorecorder hat nicht das Spiel aufgenommen. Es tut mir leid, ich hab mein bestes gegeben, aber als ich die Kasette danach gecheckt hatte, war nix drauf. Ich hab anscheinend was falsch gemacht, keine Ahnung.

Sorry.

Keine Ahnung ob's 'nen Sender gibt, der alle Spiele zeigt. Zumindest ned hier in Deutschland.

Trotzdem - sehr peinlich. *facepalm*

Balla seems to have gotten his mojo back
OH YES. I can't begin to express how he surprised me with that. :) I'm starting to like him - and that coming from me is HIGH praise! O_O (I don't even understand myself.)

Poldi really seems to be unimpressed with everything that's going on outside of the pitch.
Which is why we adore him. :D "Wichtig is ganz einfach auf'm Platz..." *sings* ;)

I bow to Miro for being so so unselfish.
OMG, yes. I suppose that after you, Miro is the most unselfish person in the world and I love him to bits. *squees*

As much as I like Marcell Jansen? Fritzi + Schnix = Whoa!
Since we haven't bought the FC Bayern yet, maybe we could reconsider and buy Fritzi instead of Marcell Jansen? :D

On a very, very different note. Portugal lost 1-2 to Poland. Should I be happy for Poland because Ebi Smolarek scored twice, or sad because Portugal lost?I'm happy that Smolarek scored twice! I mean, the media were really picking on him for not scoring when playing for the BVB, so I'm very glad for him that he managed two goals ( ... )
