I always feel a little bit like an impostor when I go to hardware stores.

Why is that?

Because I'm usually looking for parts to create something extremely dorky. This time was no exception.

But ended up finding it elsewhere.

I feel weird walking around all the big burly construction workers and such.

Also, I sometimes look at the things there and think they'd be interesting to use in... unintended ways.

I think those things every day, and some days I bring those things home. You do know I work at Home Depot, right?
