Art and a rec

So it seems I've created some art for mugenmine's story Bespoke. It's the third installment of her NewSub!John Headspace series, and if you haven't read it, it's some of my favorite BDSM writing in the fandom. Not because it portrays a healthy kinky relationship. Oh no. Quite the opposite. Sherlock sucks at communication, John sucks at saying no, and they ( Read more... )

Phew, I'm so glad you like it! :) It was a fun challenge since, as I mentioned, this isn't my usual style. But I really wanted to create what was described in the story, to the best of my ability.

Yes, you can totally put this on Tumblr! I would myself, but I haven't yet joined the Tumblr ranks.

Heya,

I changed the description to my NewSub!John series, it was inspired by your rec:

Sherlock is miserable at communication, John is terrible at saying no, and they both fail spectacularly at negotiation.

In the middle of this all, John tries to come to terms with his need to be bound and dominated, while Sherlock comes up with new, slightly disturbing, mildly scientific, and often misguided ways to test John's limits.

Things do not go smoothly.

Hope you don't mind I nicked your line! I've been meaning to change the desc for awhile as it seemed to apply less with each story... so thank you for the inspiration :-)

I don't mind in the slightest! Actually, I'm pleased that my interpretation of the series is being validated by the author. :)

And while I'm here, I totally read Secondhand Smoke and loved it, and totally have not had the chance to comment yet. I'm pretty bad about that whole commenting thing. But a comment is coming, I promise! :)
