Am I right, it appears to me that human beings are more and more intelligent?

it's so. irishfire81 December 8 2005, 04:52:30 UTC
Human beings are becoming increasingly intelligent through generations, although this is hard to detect in the average mall.

An acquaintance of mine who's obsessed with the Red Queen suggests that intelligence has evolved quickly not as a means to outcompete other species, but as a way to outsmart and outwoo, winning more fit lovers and procuring more offspring.

Yes, but happily, there is a good side effect to this behaviour, we will save our species if we become really and sustainably conscious.

our ancestors evolution is linked almost exactly to climate change... from the first of the past 20 ice ages 2 million years ago to the last spike 100,000 years ago...

and now the climate is changing again

will we evolve again? if so we haveto be getting smarter (personally i think we have alot of catrching upto do compared with ancestors say, 150,000 years ago in the middle of the last major ice age), almost none of us would know what to do....

(but of course if you live in an earthship village like STAR in Taos, that really wouldnt be an issue woudl it?)
