I received a lovely messasge recently about my Oz!Fic and am thrilled that people are still reading it. I will continue the story, although I've taken a break of a couple of years. I had a couple of health events since 2009 and am basically well now, but overworked because I am working full-time while studying full-time. My doctorate is almost ( Read more... )

I can't believe it! First a post from the long-missing-in-action adrianabr, and now here you are poking your head out of the bushes. It's lovely to see you again! Now if desert_rifka would only put up her hand and wave....

Congratulations on the almost-doctorate! That's quite an accomplishment, and balancing a full-time job with a full load of studies (and, I assume, writing a dissertation) gives you several gold stars in the time management department. You should be proud of yourself. I know everyone who reads your post will be proud of you. :-)

I have to mail Rifka one of these days. The last mail I sent was on her birthday and
didn' t get an answer. She has seldom posted lately, but this is so strange.
I' m going to say you sent her birthday wishes at LJ.

nice to hear to hear from you! i read your fics over and over while waiting for the next installment. i just want you to know that. hope the doctor visit goes well and that you get to where you want to be (and not just because i want the next fic). as for being ready, few people think theyre ready; and the ones who do are often very wrong. just be present, be mindful and just do you. judging from past interactions, that will simply be awesome.
