They have the most persistent sales people. I got a call from them this evening. At first, he just started talking about the new movie coming out and the 20th anniversary of the original HL movie. Then I made the mistake of saying I'd love to have Methos' sword. He went on for a half hour trying to get me to reserve one for when they get them ( Read more... )

$300!!! Wow.

I haven't been paying too much attention to the release of the movie. Will it be in wide or limited distribution? I want to make sure to see it if it's in my area...

That price really made me wish I had the money and the place to display it.

He said it is supposed to be wide release through US and Canada. I hope he's right. If it's limited, I know I won't see it. I doubt it'll even play very long around here if it's wide release. I haven't really seen too many updates on the movie yet. There's still not much info on the website even.

Well, I'm glad you shouted out that it's supposed to be released so soon. This way, I'll keep an eye out for it, and if it's a quickie in the theaters, I may still get to see it...if I'm watching for it.

There's going to be a new Highlander movie with Methos in it? On the one hand, yay, on the other hand... a Highlander movie. Who else is going to be in it?

Highlander: The Source is the new movie. It's been floating around at least 2 or 3 years, but they finally filmed it last year. From what I understand, it's about the origin of Immortals.

Adrian Paul (Duncan MacLeod) is back and is also producing it (I think) and Jim Byrnes (Joe) is back. I've never heard of any of the other actors in it.
