I'm finally getting around to watching Torchwood.... season 1. Just watched ep 1 tonight. Hopefully will get through the rest of the season over the weekend, then I can watch season 2, ep 1... and maybe even stay caught up ( Read more... )

I'm v. v. happy that you're willing to give the series a try! The funny thing about S1 is that different people like different episodes, depending on why they're watching the series. Generally, though, the best episodes are nearer to the end.

My personal favorites are eps 4 ("Cyberwoman"), 6 ("Countrycide"), 8 ("They Keep Killing Suzie"), 10 ("Out of Time") and 12 ("Captain Jack Harkness"), and most people agree that 8 and 12 are the very best eps.

I admit, the pterodactyl was what sealed the deal for me :D Could never resist prehistoric pets.

I've been wanting to see it, but just kept delaying watching it. When I started seeing reviews on the season 2 premiere, I decided I was just going to sit down and start watching. :)

If it stays generally about the same as ep 1, I know I'll love the rest.

Could never resist prehistoric pets.

hehe Me too!!! :D When I was younger in school, all my teachers knew my love of dinosaurs. :D
