I have no clue why anyone would think this birthday card was appropriate for me *grin*. And also under the cut would be something I've made with a book I got for my birfday. 'Tis a cake. Sort of. *smiles gleefully*

And I have a whole book of 'em to make *grin*. although I've annoyed myself 'cause I only made it last night, took a photo, and have managed to lose it somewhere in the house.

Broons is very definitely Scottish...published by DC Thompson up in Dundee in The Sunday Post. But the cartoonist was from Manchester.

I got a Broons annual every other year as a kid; they published Oor Wullie one year, The Broons the next. I always preferred the Broons *has sentimental thoughts of childhood*.
