HP fic rec - the first one!

Okay, a bit of randomness. I thought I'd rec one of the very first HP fics I read (a long, long time ago) that still sticks in my head - and is probably the one that got me completely hooked on the fandom - and stopped me seeing it as a 'kids' fandom *laughs*.

I remember loving the characterisations, thinking the final chapters were beyond awesome

The fic that hooked me was 'Transfigurations'. I think all of us who write have one fic that's sort of the 'turning point' that yanked us into this crazy world. That was mine.

Do you know, I've read most of Resonant's Due South fics (I love Fraser/Kowalski) but never any of the HP stuff. And I know Transfigurations is one of 'the' classics on the fandom. *slaps own wrist* So, guess that's another one to add to the 'must read' file :o) It's weird, isn't it, how it's one fic/author that hooks you...
