Primeval fanarty nonsense

So, the Stephen Hart in-an-hour I tried a few weeks ago...have worked on it a wee bit more. Unfortunately, I've now reached the point where the paper is refusing any more layers of pastel so I have to admit defeat, but at least I had a try. More like him but not quite there yet. I really should stop picking images with stubble!

Really good likeness, but yes I can see how stubble would be difficult! You've done a fab job with it though.

He had stubble til I 'fixed' the chin, and now the pastel layer is too thick to let me add any more. Tried scraping some off, texturally, but didn't want to ruin the picture totally. Might have a wee try at adding actual physical texture to another pastel...it seemed like it might produce something interesting! Thanks, luv!

Thank you! In an earlier version of this (before I decided I had the chin all wrong) I had lovely, detailed stubble. I mourn it's loss *g*.
