Primeval doodles

Mar 18, 2017 17:35

Remembered a long time ago I thought about cartoony Primeval characters and feeling at a bit of a loose end last night (and needing to inspire some artz) I wondered what would happen if I used a pen to doodle. Highly unartistic doodles ahead.( A few amused me... )

Nice, though I haven't seen Primeval either! *sigh*

I have too few fandoms it seems.

But yay to seeing you post on here again! *happy dance*

Oh, there was MUCH pretty in Primeval. Hearing FB pinging as I type this...very confusing posting here AND Facebook at the same time lol. Your fault if my brain explodes!

Well that just tempts me to confuse you more. Who was bottom left in the pic posted on FB? Do you think bottom right looks like Aragorn? What is the meaning of life? When do the pornographic LJ posts start up? ANSWERS PLZ! :P

I really like these! You've caught the shape of Stephen's face perfectly. His jawline always strikes me as very angular too.

You've made me want to try pen drawings too! What sort do you use?

Sort of decided to go more caricature (she says, pretending there was any real intent whatsoever). Pens are Faber castell drawing pens. The bold one purely because I have lost the other ones in the set. They do a nice range of sepia ones that produce a nice effect, too. Will try and add a pic.

Hope this is obvious. The light in my kitchen is rubbish for taking photos in. Sigh. The penguin is the black bold, the sketches are in sepia (and also either the normal or fine nib - can't remember which).

Ha! These are brilliant! I agree with Fred, Stephen is particularly excellent. You really caught his petulant scowl, lol!
Thanks for sharing!
