I do my best! Previous rescues have included birds, mice, geckos and snakes. The cockroaches have always been dead by the time I've found them, so I haven't had to wrestle with my conscience about whether the only good cockroach is a dead one...

Oh man. You definitely deserve extra points. And boo for Billy.

Did I ever tell you how Mr.Gimlet Eye brought garter snakes (twice). I rescued them, but damn, I was SO NOT AMUSED! Let's just say there was a lot of undignified squealing and dropping of said reptiles (I've never picked up a snake before). [shudders] Brr.

I hope you didn't get cold and wet.

I've decided it's his way of telling me I don't feed him enough. *sigh*

I've rescued snakes but without picking them up. But there was an incident in the kitchen with another frog that may have involved shrieking and a panicked retreat when it jumped onto my foot...
