oh my god, it was so fucking brilliant, i could weep. everything about it. i mean, i know that it was massively fictionalised & dramatised & charicaturised so i'm not watching to get an accurate view of the events surrounding the release of life of brian, but as a fandomly thing, it was the best fucking thing i'd ever seen. i'm just - shipping the fuck out of michael/terry as well as michael/john & i want ALL of the fanfics about this. gonna have to go iplayer it again right now, because oh my god. ♥ ♥ ♥ don't suppose you know somewhere i could download the whole thing so i can have it forever & ever to rewatch?

Exactly - that's why I said the Pythons writing each other: because there was so much love in it. It was affectionately taking the piss out of all your best mates, in ways you know they'll sulk about petulantly but still laugh at if you keep poking them long enough because they know it's true and know it's meant with love ( ... )
