God. I am back. It's been a nightmare only being able to get online on my phone. I never check LJ from there because the screen is so tiny and if you try to post you have to do it in a box an inch square ( Read more... )

Glad you guys are finally somewhere nice. The new place sounds awesome.

While the bonus for the party is a nice gesture, if you are doing a job above your own position and pay grade on a constant basis, it should be recognised by title and by a raise in pay. Sorry to hear that you're not getting something you deserve. =/

Looks like you'se had a lot of fun. Awesome pic of you all. Shame about the film being hacked to bits.

To answer your question - my holiday was pretty sucky and so far, the new year hasn't been much better either. I've been ill and I can't go out beccause of the snow.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that, hon. I was sick over Christmas, too and it was not at all fun; especially on the train.

I hadn't read the book before we saw the film, but the book is only 48 pages long, so they probably had to devise a lot and fill in the gaps to make a film - it just seems like they missed explaining a lot of what they'd created.
