Also also, it wasn't until I got back home that I realized I totally missed out on a chance to hang out! Boo. And this despite spending the night at pussyofdoom's little house in Seattle with lert. We shall, double our efforts! Or at least I'll take better notes!

Thank you! I actually just meant to get some split ends trimmed off, and then the eighteen-year-old (named Ginger!) cutting my hair had a better idea. I now have honest-to-god ringlets! It's so weird and great.
