I would absolutely love if there was an OP arts & crafts comm. As far as I know there isn't. I was thinking the other day of perhaps making one, but I wasn't sure if there would be enough interest. We could mod together! :3

Drat! Over a month later, I remember to reply to this. I still think this would be great to do, if you haven't already done it in the meantime and I've missed it while running around like a maniac... :)

I don't think there's actually an open OP art comm on lj to start with, would you be wanting to be all-inclusive arts/crafts or crafts-specific?

Nope, haven't done anything about it yet (in fact, had forgotten until just now XD). I thought I saw maybe one OP art comm at some point, but it was inactive and possibly dedicated to yaoi only. So yes, that might be a good idea to have art too. What should we have for a username? Something simple like op_artscrafts?

We could rip off the DW comm and go with crafty_pirates (unless that's taken already). Or crafty_onepiece. Or something. Heheh.
