Well. After reading your journals, it seems like you had rather eventful camp. It must have been quite exciting experience, with ghost stories, fake-kidnappings and with everything else.

Seriously. Wereunicorns? Just who would be stupid enough to believe in that?Still, I'm glad that I decided to stay home. No offense but I'd rather spent my time ( Read more... )

[ How do you manage to make him nervous through journals, Beatrix. ]

Perhaps I should start too That's a good idea, especially with NEWTs coming up for us next semester.

It is not only for NEWTs, I'm planning on staying head of our class.

Time spent with freinds and loved ones is perfectly produtive. I'm not overly concerned about my studies, I've always managed well before.

I'm aware that there are other ways to be 'productive' than just studying, Miss Rochefort.

So why put down others' decision to go to camp?

My, there is no need to be so sensitive about it. I was merely stating my own opinion and preferences about the subject.

Break can come after the work.

And you don't happen to have any kind silent place near? Not even outside of your house?

"All work and no play makes jack a dull boy," is one of the old sayings, if I remember correctly. We're in the summer holiday after a year of poring through books and studying, I think we at least deserve a little bit of time off before we go through our books even before we get to school.

I am not completely against the 'much needed break', Mr. Sawada. But there isn't much left of our vacation, and I believe that you have managed to relax and had your fun. So it wouldn't hurt to start preparing for the next semester at this point.

Mm, you're quite right about that - it doesn't hurt to study a bit beforehand. It just depends on the person in question how long they should do it in order to let it all sink in.

Like me, for example: I always cram start to study a week before school starts, and I've always managed to stay ahead of the game that way, so that works for me.

But seeing that most of students aren't like us, and so they need more time to study than just a week.
