Day 6

[You might be able to hear the soft rustling of several layers of blankets, as Quatre slowly stirs from a deep, semi-drug-induced sleep]

[After a couple of seconds, you hear Quatre moaning softly as well - not from a nightmare, but from the headache that's hit him like a beam cannon.]

ugh.... [he sits up] Where...? Since when was I back here...?

Oh...it's you.

Nnnh.... Carrot?

[destructocarrot]

Yeah, that's my name! What's your problem?

[quatrew]

Last I remember, I was in the infirmary... [he coughs, trying to clear his throat so he can speak normally] I was throwing up and feverish. Then all of a sudden, I'm back in my room.

[quatrew]

I'm okay. Just sick to my stomach a bit. It's better than before.

[quatrew]

It might be the flu? That's what Reeve thinks it is... [coughs]

Quatre? Are you-- are you all right? What happened?

[quatrew]

I'm just a bit ill... stomach and head hurt, but not as bad than before. [coughs] I don't remember anyone taking me to the infirmary... or bringing me back... but I remember throwing up and being in a lot of pain.

[audibly swallows, trying to force himself not to throw up again]

Ugh...

... it sounds like the flu. Ginger tea would be good for your stomach, if they won't give you medication for the nausea. Do you need any help?

[quatrew]

The flu. I've heard of it, but I've never had it before.

I honestly don't know what they gave me, which isn't good. It knocked me out quick. I'm-- [a hacking cough] Oww...

Tea does sound nice...

[quatrew]

I remember being in the infirmary, then going to sleep... then I woke up here in the room.

Maybe they moved ya o' somethin'. How ya feelin'?

[quatrew]

I can still hear you through the wall, so at least my regular room didn't change. [sniffles and swallows a lump in his throat] I'm a little better. Not throwing up all the time, at least...

Are you alright, kid?

[quatrew]

I've felt better... are you doing okay?

[antsolute]

What happened? Me? I'm always fine.

[quatrew]

I must've gotten sick. It was really sudden, though.
