Sweet!! They recently performed Moby Dick down at the San Diego opera. I kept getting flyers for it. I'll be really curious to hear the differences between the two versions you see. I really want to book a crazy opera trip myself and take my sister back to the Met in November to see Masked Ball with Marcelo Alvarez, but I don't think it will happen, alas. Mostly because I don't think I can truly convince my sister to simply get on a plane and go with me. But I'll be working on it!
