First I was going. Then I wasn't. Now, I might be after all.

Surrey 2010I'm not longer certain I'll get both manuscripts pitch-ready before I go, but I think I need to break out of my solitude anyway and start making some more contacts out there. And who knows what I can accomplish if I put my nose to the grindstone

Oh, wow, I would love to learn about point-of-view from Joanna Bourne! Her books do have some occasional clunkers in the way of plot holes, but my God, she has a gift for narrative voice.

She's also fab at explaining her thought processes using really great examples. We used to hang out at the same writers forum. (She's still there, I got lazy and stopped keeping up with the happenings there.)
