Highly amusing...

I've just returned home from Surrey and am reconciling files.

I began by opening old and new versions of the opening chapter of Hastings Hall, to paste the vastly superior new version into place.

They have exactly the same word count: 2148.

I am so very amused.

Re. the Surrey trip....dare I ask how the audiobooks went? Good? Bad? Too busy to listen?

They were really fun. I forgot to write down the order of the books before I left and didn't realize it until after I'd heard The Magician's Nephew and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. So after that, I picked Voyage of the Dawn Treader at random, then went back to Prince Caspian. At that point, I was mostly home and sick of the spoken word, so I switched to the complete Les Mis, which took me just about to my door.

I might listen to a couple more on the drive to Saskatoon, but I do also have to get to the Napoleon podcasts.
