Ooh, I'm really enjoying this AU. Lovely characterisation, and a Harry that doesn't make me want to kill things!

I love the Sirius-as-Padfoot but, b-b-b-ut... Remus? :(

I find Harry so hard to write. I don't think I've got his voice quite right, but the different childhood should hopefully give me an excuse.

Remus is okay. He'll make an appearance later.

eeee. I like this a lot. especially the Padfoot - James banter. am also v. v. glad Remus is still alive.

I reckon the good side of this scenario is the opportunity for Sirius to prank James endlessly.

Of course Remus is still alive. I wouldn't dream of tackling an AU where he wasn't.

Allow me to be part of the happy-Remus-is-alive chorus.

And oh, Harry. At first I was sort of cursing him for being so stupid not to figure out about Padfoot, but really, I guess if I didn't know about Animagi, my first suspicion wouldn't be the family dog either.

I am interested by the brief awkwardness about Remus' mention. And the significance of Alice's name; I'm sort of scared for Neville.
