These Are My Hobbies. Is That Sad?

Sadly, I did not win the fanfiction contest (I was beaten by an Anita Blake crossover and a Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover) and I'm trying not to get disheartened about it. I know I have lots of room to improve on my writing, but sometimes I just don't feel like I have any talent for it at all. I've been getting a very low amount of reviews for

Oh man, when I worked at NY&Co there were certain weeks when I got 25% off everything and it sucked because nothing in that store fit my body type...the shirts were too tight across my boobs and the pants/skirts had too much room in the hips. I think I got a pair of sweatpants, a sweatshirt, shorts that I hate, and a button down shirt that doesn't fit me with my discount.

I can't EVER find stuff to fit me there. :o( Pants are either too short or too long (or have weird pockets that sit on my hips and flare out strangely) and the shirts NEVER fit because they're primarily built for people who's chest size is only a a little bigger than they are around the waist, which is not true, I think, for either of us. But, sometimes you get lucky. :o)

I LOVE New York and Company - surprisingly, I've found quite a few things that fit me, despite my (also) oversized, um, top half... ;)
My sister's friend is working there this summer, and my sister is torn because she's going to India for a semester (and NY&C clothes aren't really what she needs to take with her) but she really wants to buy stuff...

Thank you! :o) Actually, it's been my dream for a long time to be a published author, so maybe one day. Gotta come up with an original story, though.

Sadly, Brent and I will be going tomorrow after work. No way we're going to get home at 3:00 and get up for work at 7:30.
