Why is it that the last 10k is the hardest?

I've been sitting at my computer for 30 minutes and have only come up with 50 new words. I'm not off to a good start today.

I finished the 50k (But not the novel) which means you can do it.

OMG YAY!! I'm so proud of you!! :D
I just hit 44k, i want to get to 47 before i fall asleep (so maybe 5 more hours), that way tomorrow isn't too stressful.
Congrats again!!

(and I know how you feel. every time i do nano, i never finish the novel, just hit the word count goal.)
