She is now reading Catching Fire.

So far the only thing she has commented is about how amazing and touching the fact that Rue's district sent a gift to Katniss after Rue died.
She couldn't stop thinking about the real kids who are starving/are in danger in 3rd world countries ( Read more... )

It was. And I love how Katniss and Peeta reciprocate.

I really can't wait to hear her reactions to what Katniss and Peeta do to return the favor. She should be there tomorrow. XD

The whole plot thread with Rue/because of Rue is just amazing. A very good part of the books.

Sorry for the late report. She just finished Catching Fire last night, and didn't want to talk about the book until then. haha.

But, after talking to her, she said that she was so touched she felt like crying; when Peeta painted Rue in the private session with the gamekeepers and again when everyone held hands after the interviews. ;)

I hope there are as many touching moments in Mockingjay as there was in Catching Fire
