How Odd

Can I make this new format disappear?
Could be curtains for me and LJ.

I have no interest in learning this new crap.

I don't even like reading any more.

What an incredibly handsome group, E! And I'm glad to hear that it was a very Merry Christmas!

So, what's up with LJ? I'm not a regular anymore, except to visit friends, so I wasn't aware of any changes.

In any case, you're always welcome at Dreamwidth where you also have an account.

Hope you have a Happy New Year...

Thanks L. Of course, I think they look pretty darn good.

This is what happened. I went to log into LJ and somehow in the night had mysteriously been logged out and an entirely new version with a different format appeared when I did log in. No where can I find a way to switch back to the format to which I am accustomed. However, on the laptop the old format still appears and I had not been logged out of there.

Perhaps the problem is me being unwilling to spend time to figure out what is going on, and also being quite aggravated that it happened without my approval or participation. I get no pleasure from trying to figure out computer issues. I just get frustrated and feel there are better ways to spend my time (like reading.) It would be much easier to switch to Dreamwidth.

Yeah, the part about things happening "without my approval or participation" used to pi$$ me off at LJ quite regularly. Although the fact that some little Simi Valley sh!t would sell out to a Russian media group was the proverbial straw that finally broke it for me. That and the fact that I'm increasingly paranoid in my old age, lol.

Anyway, I'm sure we'd keep in touch even without DW or LJ, but I hope you're able to find a satisfactory solution if only because your holiday pictures do brighten a world that sorely needs it. My best to you always...

Aw thanks. Indeed there is a myriad of ways of keeping in touch. Personally, I would like to go back to writing real letters. There is a warmth there thst I miss in the cold world of tech.

And much appreciate your compliments on the faces I love the most.
