Suitably Warm

22° F outside is definitely not suitably warm, and I was up way before dawn so opted to pile on more clothes, turn up the thermostat and put another log on the fire. Thus I achieved a suitably warm status. Now the sun is up and streaming through the south windows that make up the entire wall in the living room and I'm reversing the process of

Is that a stained glass piece you have hanging in your window? I can't quite make out what it is though. And is that a massive Rosemary plant casting the beautiful shadow? Whatever it is, it's gorgeous. If it's Rosemary, I'd be so tempted to touch it constantly. I love their smell!

That's an etched glass piece in the window, and yes that's rosemary. We drag her in and out every year. I thinking it's the pond you see, it's not nearly as close as it appears, but makes for a nice view. Thanks so much for appreciating our little piece of paradise. We've lived here nearly 40 years and I love it still.
