Taking Time to Write

When I started up at LJ again, I stopped writing in my paper journal and now I am seeing that I put off writing in LJ so I'm going to try to do better at that. I have been faithful to my Gratitude Journal so it contains some info about what's going on in my life. Truly, there's not much going on. This time of year is all about getting outside and ( Read more... )

Where to start? I like hearing about the books you read. I write down the names to see if I might enjoy them too. I like reading a series in order also, and if the library doesn't have all of the books, I buy them and donate them to the library. Your gardening shoes are cute! We are long past the tilling stage in gardening. We do container gardening now, and adding to existing small garden beds around the house. Love seeing your beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I always thought celery was too much trouble to grow in a home garden. Don't you have to bury it as it grows, or maybe I'm thinking of something else. Blessings on you and yours.

I've never blanched the celery before and am not sure how that's done. I like it bright green and crispy. We dig it up in the fall and bring it inside so have fresh celery all winter. Alas after two seasons it died, so I'm starting over.

Blessings..and love

I write a little bit in a paper journal everyday. That to me is much easier to accomplish than LJ. Probably because I am just writing whereas when I write in LJ I also am reading and sometimes it takes up more time than I have to give to it.

I was looking forward to seeing Wild. I read the book last year and really enjoyed it.

It's a shame about your tiller but fantastic that you found a replacement just in time. I think all the "old" stuff from appliances, farming equipment, cars, etc. were made better. These days it seems like products are made to just last a few years not a lifetime. Either quality control isn't what it used to be or companies just want people to have to keep buying more stuff. I could go on about thus topic forever.
