Future tense sucks writing anything more than speculation and little ficlets. Seriously the most I've managed is 300 words and that was pulling teeth.

Future tense is horrible unless it's in dialogue, really - someone saying "yeah, tomorrow I'll go to the store, then the bank, then maybe the park" is totally fine, but in description it's awkward.
