7:00 am: Wake up to buzzing alarm clock. Groan, roll over, hit snooze, cover head with pillow.
7:10 am: Groan as alarm clock goes off again. Sit up halfway, turn alarm off. Collapse back onto bed.
7:15 am: Wake up to second alarm. Lever self out of bed and walk to desk. Turn alarm off. Look longingly at bed, valiantly try to resist going back to sleep. Stretch. Wait for lock to click open. Kiss Aunt Rosalie good morning. Try not to grimace at zombie morning breath.
7:20 am: Use bathroom. Shower. Brush teeth. Return to bedroom.
7:35 am: Get dressed. Do hair.
7:45 am: Pack up books. Go downstairs (quietly; must let sleeping zombies lie). Grab a toaster pastry for breakfast. Pack bagged lunch.
7:55 am: Go to corner to wait for school bus.
8:00 am: Board bus. Lean head against window and try to grab a few more minutes of sleep.
8:45 am: Arrive at school. Go to classes, see friends, eat lunch, hand in homework, get new homework.
2:30 pm: Get on bus.
3:00 pm: Arrive home. Go inside. Say hello to Aunt Rosalie and her minions, ignoring the clearly confused new zombie. Grab a bag of chips and a soda for an afternoon snack.
3:15 pm: Do homework at the kitchen table while eating afternoon snack. Ignore Aunt Rosalie describing exactly what new zombie's new life entails.
3:30 pm: Go upstairs, work on homework at desk in bedroom. When finished, consider options for what else to do. Read, play computer games, listen to music, or chat online with friends.
8:00 pm: Realize it's well past dinner time (as always). Go downstairs, grimacing at zombie skin that's been shed all over the hallway and the stairs.
8:10 pm: Glare at mostly-empty fridge. End up making a grilled cheese (again). Ignore new zombie crying in the orientation room.
8:40 pm: Search out Aunt Rosalie in the planning room. Remind her that there does need to be food in the house. Ask if she can have one of the minions clean the stairs and hallway, as shed zombie skin is utterly gross.
8:45 pm: Go back to room. If homework isn't finished, finish now. Otherwise, find other things to do.
11:00 pm: Change into pajamas. Use bathroom. Brush teeth. Wait for Aunt Rosalie to unlock door to parents' room, kiss parents goodnight, wait for Aunt Rosalie to lock door to parents' room.
