Aug 13, 2009 16:11

July 25th 2006... that was when I first stepped into this City. I left on the 14th of January and the next time I came here was on August 13th, seven months after that and have been here since.

It'll be a complete three years this time. I've met so many people in that time, and made so many friends. I've felt more than just friendship for a few as ( Read more... )

Knowing this place, yes. I'm rather surprised with the fact myself.

Makes you wonder how long this place has been around too, doesn't it?

[Xanadu, as always, and by her rose garden as usual--was it really 'hers'? That was how he thought of it anymore. Either way, he decided to seek her out. He's celebrated Rosella's anniversary of being in the City. Megumi didn't seem to want the same kind of celebration and nostalgia.

He'll come up on her slowly...]

[ Perhaps it's the fact that Ashura is gone, though that's just an excuse-- she really has been emotionally tired these days and the weight of the days has been taking its toll. But as always, it's been kept to herself, finding its release in the one thing she does know how to express herself with; her music.

In her favourite spot near her rose garden, and able to look over the lake beyond, she's seated on the grass, playing a tune, which is of course a classic.

Because really, no one says it better than the King.

She's sensed him, how could she not when he's the owner of half her magic now? But she figures he'll understand that, so she doesn't look up, waiting for him to sit down. ]

Have I ever played this one for you, luv?

[ She speaks softly, continuing to play the beginning tabs. ]

[She always seems to know he's there before he speaks. He's almost gotten used to it over the last few months. It still startles him, but, no, he's almost gotten used to it.]

I don't think you have, no.

[He sits down beside her.]

[ She knows she's slightly unfair-- he could shield his presence from her if he so wanted, but she hasn't exactly gone into that. It's a bit of selfishness on her part, but he's not complaining, is he? Looking up when he sits down, she looks over at him with a smile. ]

It's a pretty song... it's too bad you don't know the lyrics. It would sound lovely in your voice.

You've been here for that long?

Seems to be that way, huh? I've seen a lot during my stay. It's almost surreal.

Really? You must have-- because three years is really a long time.

I'm almost nearing being a year in this place but it's still strange for me.

I don't remember much about my life at home except for the time before I came here again. Except for my guitar. It's my treasure.

How have you been doing?

redabyssinian August 14 2009, 01:10:14 UTC
Any kind of rock?

...Well enough.

Mostly, though hard rock is my favourite. Do you like it too, Mr. Fujimiya?
